I am I

Writing about yourself is always the most difficult thing there is. At least I think so. I’ve thought about writing this like an FAQ but that is probably not only a bit geeky (to geeky for even me!) and it might be a bit dry and boring.

So me… what do I say. I grew up in Washington State in a town called Tacoma. Tacoma is about a half hours drive away from Seattle if you need a landmark. When I was 27 I met my husband and after a very quick romance, and a move for me from the US to the UK, we were married. No kids, one cat with issues.

By day I’m an office wrangler working in a small office supporting a group of colleagues and two managers. Nights, weekends and any other free time you’ll find me blogging, doing some sort of arts and crafts type thing or with a camera attached to my face.

I call myself Keeper of the Archives. Which means I keep… well everything. No that’s not true I do get rid of some stuff. But I have news paper clippings, old lists, photos, post cards, and I’ve kept a paper diary since I was 18 years old.

  1. Oooh you’re originally from the States! That I didn’t know. Well I do now haha.
What kind of issues does your cat have?

Lovely to read a bit about you ^_^

    • Daisy is a rescue cat. She was taken away from her Mum to young and then not treated nicely in her first home. When we got her she was 6 months old and was just a big fluffy ball of angry. I think I was covered in bite marks and scratches for about a year.

She a bit odd and will never be a very social cat. But she’s much more social than she was when we first got her. As much as she drives me nuts she also makes me laugh, the house would be empty with out her.

  2. I can’t either. Always makes me so angry when I hear of it. We only saved Daisy because her owner was the boyfriend of the woman living across the street from us. He was moving in and they didn’t want two cats.

I hate to think of what would have happened to her otherwise.

  3. Followed you from FF from madscouser. I’m transplanted Vancouverite (Can) in Rock Ferry

  4. You have a fan
